The black sheep of our extended family, PUSCIFER, finally announced two shows in Las Vegas at the Pearl Theater at the Palms Casino, on February 13th and 14th. Tickets went on sale on December 13th and prompty sold out in like, half an hour, so the Palms added a third night of Puscifer madness for February 15th. Awesome. My friend Rob Black and I have taken to the studio with great enthusiasm. It's funny how much you struggle and struggle towards something only to stop and realize that you're exactly where you need to be at the moment. I'm finally - and thankfully - leaning how to recognize that. Fun stuff, kids. Rob is a rare treat to work with, and my longtime friend and sometimes bandmate Rich Sherwood has joined us for a few sessions with his sparkly black drum kit and one of the world's most perfect snare drums. I'm learning how to play the lap steel. My neighbors, they love me.

I've got a few shows in LA (including an upcoming performance in January at the Viper Room with my friends the Rosies), a few shows out on the road, and I'm planning my next trip back home to Austin. Can't wait. Here a video of us being dorks in the studio:
